Best time for Everest View Trek
During summer (June, July and August) the minimum temperature along the highest point of the trek is around 0°c and it is one of the most favorable seasons for Everest View Trek but as the monsoon coincides with summer in Nepal you must carry appropriate gears for a pleasant experience.
During winter (December, January and February) the Everest region receives minimum amount of rainfall and heavy snowfall. This season offers most scenic views of the snowcapped mountains. The temperature decreases to -20°c and most of the trekking routes are closed because of heavy snowfall this is why in winter it will not be wise to go for Everest View Trek.
Autumn (September, October and November) is one of the most favorable seasons for Everest View Trek. During this season there is relatively very less chances of rainfall and the temperature is mild and moderate. This temperature offers you warm day and cold night with pleasant trekking temperatures.
During spring (March, April and May) the Everest region looks extremely beautiful with different colors. More Information on Everest View Trek
Our accommodation will be in 3 star hotel in Kathmandu and will be staying in tea houses and lodges during the trek as per availability. All accommodations are on twin share basis. If you want single supplement it will cost an additional charge. Actual adventure team will manage rooms with attached washrooms, except in some of the tea houses having shared washrooms and toilet facilities. However single rooms are provided only as per the availability because it may not be available at the higher elevations.
All meals will be provided during our 10 days trek including welcome and farewell dinners in Kathmandu. The meals during our stay in Kathmandu will be provided in high class typical Nepali restaurants which serve you with delicious Nepali cuisines whereas we will have our breakfast and dinner in the tea houses/ lodges on trek. We will spend the night and lunch on our way to the next destination. We will serve you with local foods or the foods according to your preference and availability
Physical condition & Requirements
The 7 day Everest View Trek is an itinerary designed for trekkers having good health and average physical fitness. It is a moderate trek. This is an easy trek designed for passionate walkers who can walk up to 4-5 hours a day. . Although, there is no experience required. It is best if you start preparing for the trek a month before by doing exercise and maintaining proper diet. If you have any physical conditions then you should inform to actual adventure team before the trek.

It takes about 2 -3 hours from the main Market of Everest Region Namche Bazaar to reach to Everest View Hotel. Everest View Hotel is also one of the highest placed luxury hotels in the world. The trial to Everest view Hotel from Namche is mostly an uphill walk through the villages, meadows and forests. Everest View Hotel Death and Altitude Sickness.
Since Everest View Hotel is situated at an altitude of 3880m you need to be careful regarding the altitude sickness. An altitude above 3500 meters the content of oxygen is lower and it is the main cause of altitude sickness. There are many records of deaths of people during Everest expedition but there is no official record of deaths in Everest View Hotel or Everest View Trek but we cannot ignore the fact that you may suffer from altitude sickness. Proper acclimatization is required to prevent from altitude sickness.
How much does it costs to stay at Everest View Hotel?
Everest View Hotel is the most expensive hotel in the Everest Region. It costs around 300USD to 400USD to stay at Everest View Hotel per night. However, it doesn’t cost anything if you go there to just view the Everest and return back without having any services like food and other. Since, it the worlds highest placed luxury hotels and has only 10 rooms the stay at Everest View Hotel is expensive. Most of the budget trekkers go to Everest View hotel to just have the sunrise and sunset view in the Everest and other surrounding mountains.
Everest View Hotel Weather
The weather of Everest Region is unpredictable. There is frequent change in the weather of Everest region especially in the higher altitude. There are four different seasons which gives you different experience of trekking. The weather of Everest region and Everest View Hotel during different season is as follow. However this is just tentative weather information of the weather and may not exactly match during the seasons.
Weather during spring in Everest Region
During spring (March-May) the Everest Region has the most favorable weather for trekking. You can enjoy the beautiful trials and explore the blooming flowers during the trials. As it is the best season for trekking you can expect numbers of trekkers on the way. The average temperature is 17 °c during day and can increase up to 25°c and decrease up to -15°c during night. The temperature at lower altitude is higher than higher altitude.
Weather during summer in Everest Region.
Summer season (May- August) welcomes Monsoon and ends winter in Nepal. Trekking during summer in the Everest Region is not very suitable because the trials get wet because of Monsoon rain. Weather during autumn in Everest Region.
Autumn (Sep-Nov) is another peak tourist season in Everest Region. The weather during autumn is neither too cold nor too hot especially in the higher altitudes. Autumn season offers favorable trekking environment with crystal clear views of the mountains.
Weather during winter in Everest Region
During winter the Everest region gets extremely cold. Winter (Dec- Feb) is not favorable for trekking in Everest region but can be an amazing experience for challenge seekers. The days are warmer and nights are colder during winter. Temperature can decrease up to -20°c to -30 °c during nights. The temperature can drop up to -60°c during winter in Everest region.
Passport and Visa
You need a VISA to enter Nepal. However, the arrival visa is available at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu’s where you can simply get “On Arrival Visa” and you must enter Nepal within six months from the visa issued date. Your total stay is counted starting from the day you enter Nepal. Indian citizens don’t need a VISA to enter Nepal but a valid identity card is necessary.
You will be charged $40 USD as visa application fees for 30 days tourist visa to the forefingers except for Chinese and India. For those tourists who have Indian and Chinese passports then you do not need a VISA.
Travel insurance is important for trekkers in participating in any trek and tour programs in the mountains. We highly recommend getting good compressive travel insurance that covers things like emergency helicopter rescue, medical evacuation expenses, it will be an assisted protection tour to cover personal injury, injury, repatriation expenses, and any kind of illness will be covered. Is travel insurance compulsory?
We highly recommend trekkers to have the travel insurance. But its not that compulsory.
Can I obtain the visa for Nepal upon on Kathmandu arrival and how?
Yes. Upon arrival at Kathnmandu, you will easily obtain a visa by processing some formalities. Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 30 days can be obtained by paying the USD 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Likewise, Tourist Visa with Multiple Entry for 90 days can be attained by paying USD 100.
What do I need to obtain Nepal visa?
To get your visa for Nepal, you require the following documents:
- A valid passport with the validity of at least six months
- Visa fees which should be paid in cash (No credit card is accepted)
